Dabaa Axis, Egypt
Dabaa Axis Development – Water Network Project
Project Overview:
The Dabaa Axis, along with its connections, is a crucial development axis on the Northwest Coast. It connects several key development areas, including the Suez Canal Development Axis, the Qattara Depression, the Southern Upper Egypt Development Triangle, the Golden Triangle for Mining, the Border Triangle (Halaib, Shalateen, and Abu Ramad), Toshka, and East Oweinat. The axis is also strategically located near Egypt’s western border and several national projects, most notably the New Delta – Egypt’s Future (Mostakbal Misr).
The primary goal of developing the Dabaa Axis is to support Mostakbal Misr for Sustainable Development Project. Developing robust irrigation and agricultural systems, including comprehensive water networks, is essential to maximize the use of water resources and deliver water to the areas designated for cultivation.
Key Components:
The Dabaa Axis Development Project consists of the following:
- Desalination plants
- Sewage network
- Water lifting stations
- Conveyor lines and water networks
- Main and secondary road networks
