New Expansion Water Network Project in the 12,494-acre Green Belt Area
Project Overview:
The Green Belt area is a key development project in 6th of October City, focused on enhancing environmental sustainability and developing the area’s infrastructure. This project reflects the commitment to improving the quality of life for future generations by providing enhanced services. This project includes utilities, roads, and other ongoing developments in the Green Belt area following the approval of the detailed plan for the 12,494-acre area. The goal is to establish an integrated urban community. The Green Belt area is divided into three sections:
- Area 1: Basins 1 to 16 (approximately 4,500 acres)
- Area 2: Basins 17 to 24 (approximately 2,200 acres)
- Area 3: Basins 25 to 49 (approximately 3,500 acres)
Key Components:
The project consists of the following:
- Water Networks
- Irrigation Networks
- Sewage and Rainwater Drainage Networks and Expulsion Lines
- Sewage Pumping Stations
- Main and Secondary Road Networks
ECPC’s Scope of Work:
ECPC is one of the key suppliers of prestressed concrete pipes (PCCP) for this project. ECPC will provide a total of 7,500 meters of small-diameter (800mm/32 bars, 900mm/32bars, 1,000mm/20bars) PCCP pipes and special fittings. ECPC has completed approximately 81% of its scope of work.
